About Me
Hello! I’m Ege Kaan Işık, a full stack software developer with a strong interest in web technologies. I was born on November 30th, 2001, in Ankara, where I spent the first 17 years of my life before moving to Istanbul. My journey in technology began at a young age and has been a central part of my life ever since. After graduating from Ankara Gazi Anatolian High School in 2019, I have been dedicated to learning and growing in the tech field.
I enjoy exploring new technologies and frameworks, especially those related to web development and content management systems. I aim to stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in the industry. In my free time, I work on personal projects, experimenting with new ideas and techniques.

Academic Life
I graduated from MEF University with a degree in Computer Engineering, achieving a CGPA of 3.42/4.00, which earned me the status of Honor Student. My coursework included subjects such as Data Structures and Algorithms, Operating Systems, and Web Technologies. Throughout my studies, I consistently performed well, earning a place on the Dean's High Honor List multiple times, reflecting my commitment to academic excellence.
During my university years, I engaged in various projects that provided me with practical experience and a deeper understanding of computer engineering. These projects helped me develop my technical skills and taught me the importance of teamwork, an essential aspect of the tech industry.

Work Experience
I work as a Software Developer at Doğuş Teknoloji. My responsibilities include integrating CMS systems, building websites, and assisting with the deployment process. My work often involves using frameworks and Content Management Systems like Strapi to create enhanced online experiences. Previously, I served as an IT Assistant at MEF University, where I managed various IT systems and provided technical support. I also have experience working on freelance projects, mainly developing applications in Java and Python.
In my current role, I focus on integrating CMS systems, building websites, and helping with deployments. This position has allowed me to refine my skills in software architecture, database management, and system integration. My hands-on experience with a variety of programming languages and tools has prepared me to tackle diverse challenges, making me a versatile and adaptive developer.

Community Works
Beyond my professional work, I'm deeply involved in the tech communities. As a GDG Organizer for GDG Istanbul, I'm actively involved in shaping and delivering impactful events, and I regularly share my expertise by speaking at various community gatherings. My commitment to community growth continues with my contributions to major events, such as DevFest Istanbul.
Previously, as the former Lead of the Google Developer Student Clubs (GDSC) at MEF, I organized significant events that provided valuable learning opportunities for technology enthusiasts. Following my leadership, I continued to support the community. I also briefly contributed to Developer MultiGroup, focusing on community-driven tech events. Earlier in my journey, I served as a Microsoft Learn Beta Student Ambassador, where I helped students develop technical skills and connect with resources that supported their growth in the tech field. These roles allow me to engage with a broad network of technology enthusiasts and professionals, fostering a collaborative and inclusive tech environment.
